Owen decided to arrive early... much to all of our surprise! My water broke on Wednesday night, just an hour and a half after Chad and I went to bed, so we both panicked when we realized that we weren't well rested for what could easily turn into a solid few days of no sleep with his pending arrival. As it turned out, Owen was very efficient and was born less than 8 hours later and spent the first week of his life leaving us all wondering what color his eyes were, since he rarely woke up! We were able to catch up on sleep (sort of) before reality set in and he started spending more time awake. He is a really good baby though, so we know how lucky we are.
